Hidden gem on A’Beckett Street – D’arac Grill and Bar has been on my favourite list for a very long time ever since I found it. I recommended it to many friends in the past because of its food, image and vibe. I like its wooden interior design and its collection of little items placed in the restaurant, making this restaurant a little playful and at home. The lighting in the restaurant is dark, in particular the dining area near the kitchen.
There are tables available for couples as well as groups with varying sizes; loyal customers are entitled to a free item on every 5th visit – I am not too far from that entitlement, I wonder what it is?
D’arac’s lunch menu is different to its dinner menu, you will not find naeng myun (cold soup noodles) and naeng myun (noodles with black bean sauce) on either menus but there are a lot more than noodles to please your tummy. I have had their stew in the past, they are great for gatherings in winter where you and a group of friends can share a big pot.
Overall – you will not be disappointed.
