I always have a mixed feeling for Groove Train, sometimes I can’t seem to justify their prices to the food provided and their services, it is often my ‘lazy’ choice of restaurants. The soup I had that night was okay, it was too spicy (too much herbs and spices) and too thin. Oh, also they are so generous that they charge for a glass of hot water too…

I had a super unique brown rice vegetarian sushi roll from them the other day!! <3 Instead of the normal veggie stuffings this sushi had crisp veggies such as red capsicum and cucumber accompanied with slices of flavoursome aburaage (fried tofu). Really enjoyed it and I’ve noticed that their menu had quite a variety so I do plan to have a proper meal there soon~ I have found this article online reviewing the Purple Peanuts, now are you drooling?

Good food and friendly service, except one of the waitresses and was very quiet and had trouble understanding our requests such as “may we please have the table cleaned up and could you please bring the cake out for us now?” Instead she brought out another seafood pancake 10 minutes later and said that it was complimentary… =.=||| So yea, they (including the manager) were very confused about birthday dinners… But apart from that, it’s still a good Korean restaurant.
